Mackenzie Scott

OUR FOUNDER

Based in New Jersey, nestled between the vibrant energy of New York City and the urban sophistication of Philadelphia, our founder Mackenzie grew up naturally creating—from writing and printing her own books to being drawn to the camera lens, instinctively understanding storytelling and finding joy in making. She wouldn't know it yet, but those early years set the tone for everything that was yet to come.

Fast-forward to college, and psychology became her focus, with initial aspirations of becoming a therapist—but during her studies, something clicked. The principles she was learning sparked a new vision, illuminating the realization that she could still help people thrive with what she'd studied, but through an entirely different medium that would allow her to channel her creative desires and love of social media too.

Mental Media grew from recognizing that founders with refined visions knew what they wanted their brand to feel like, but translating that vision into content that converted remained out of reach. Consumer behavior, decision-making patterns, the science of what makes people pause mid-scroll—these aren't just concepts, they are the missing piece most agencies overlook.
